My favorite AI application is Perplexity. It’s ahead of the game compared to every other AI application. In my company, Jaguar Land Rover, we’re not allowed to use ChatGPT on company laptops. ChatGPT was stopped because employees were using it too much, raising concerns about the data being given for training the model.
Personally, I see great potential for AI in education. A personalized digital version of an excellent teacher could be deployed to remote locations in any country, which would be a very innovative use of generative AI, particularly ChatGPT.
Looking to the future, I would like to contribute something significant to my country. Although other countries are ahead, India is on the right track, having invested $7 billion in AI development and regulation, which is crucial. We also need to focus on soft power in AI development. I am currently working on simulating AI-related purposes for academic papers. For example, I simulated the fundamental ‚Attention is All You Need‘ paper, which is the basis for GPT models. It describes how the transformer architecture is created and I was able to simulate it to a certain extent to translate Italian to English.”
The applications of AI are literally limitless right now. The API keys of every GPT model are available for everyone to use, so you can have your own personalized version, provided you know how to fine-tune it to your requirements. That’s the tough part, but there are plenty of open-source large language models available. Personalization, especially in education, is possible and not as difficult as it might seem at first.
To your readers, I would say: keep your mind open because in the future, that is a requirement.
